Roaring Twenties Wisteria Dress

Another historical fashion design with a flower motif because these are really fun to do!
The flower is wisteria this time, the dress is inspired by an original 1920s dress I saw on Tumblr.

I used to dislike the 1920s style because I thought it was shapeless, unflattering and the dresses looked like embroidered potato sacks. But recently, I changed my mind about it and now I really appreciate 20s fashion. It's so completely different from any other style that came before it and looks really cool and modern. Still not one of my favourite periods in fashion, but very fun to design and interesting in general. I've also been listening to some really great jazz- and swing-inspired music and reading s amazing webcomic Lackadaisy, so that got me in the right mood.
